New Blood has been selected as our name of choice for the show. We feel this pushes it out into the professional field a little more and gives us more room to play. We also feel it evenly represents all the students. We are the New Blood's rising up to compete with the existing designers out there.
I'm really happy with how things are going so far and everybody seems on board. We began making the ending for our promo video. Andrew came up with the idea of dripping candle wax onto paper in order to make the typography reading New Blood. We are then going to splash over sound coloured ink/ water and the word should be revealed. The colour of the ink/ water will then be keyed out to replaced with the glittery effect we are aiming for.
