Chosen set

It took some time to decide which photos to select as final images. I spoke to all 3 of the lecturers who will be marking my work as well as some of my classmates. Two of them disagreed with the other, saying that the slicker images looked better. Plenty of my classmates also agreed with this fact but I chose to go with the rough set anyway. This is because the lecturer who had chosen the less popular set was the one to have followed my project more closely start to finish. It's easy to be subjective when looking at the images I've produced. In all honesty I prefer the other set too in terms of technicality, but in terms of mood there is something missing. The rough and ready look that I had selected as an objective at the beginning of the project would have been lost. The slicker set document the official side of the sport but that isn't the side that I'm looking to show to i.D magazine at all. It doesn't have the same underground, sub-culture feeling to it that, I know from the brief set by i.D, I need to convey.
